Q How do I know that my teacher will be good?
A All our teachers have the minimum teaching qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. – the Certificate. Many also have English degrees and Masters. They all have many years of experience teaching English to children and adults.
Q How do I know I will like my teacher and the family?
A We visit each teacher in their home and meet their family and get to know them so that we match the student and their interests with a teacher with similar interests. Our families are all very friendly and welcoming.
Q What about the accommodation?
A Our teachers are selected also for the standard of accommodation they can offer and when we visit our teachers in their homes we can see if the accommodation is suitable or not. Our teachers’ standard of accommodation is very good.
Q What if there is a problem?
A In the unlikely event of a problem during the course between the student and teacher it is dealt with quickly and seriously.
Q How do I get from the airport or station to the teacher’s home?
A We can help you with public transport directions or we can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport – the cost of this depends on the location of your teacher.
Q What about insurance?
A We recommend you arrange insurance against accident, illness or loss of property. We can do this for you if you wish.
Q What do I do in my free time?
A You are free to do whatever you like –for example, you can spend time with the family, go sightseeing, do a sport, go to the cinema or theatre, go shopping or just relax in the comfort of your teacher’s home!
